Corona – between retrospective and perspective

One year ago, the Corona pandemic already began. In retrospect we have been able to cope with it quite well. Even though we worked more from home in the spring and fall, we were still able to draw a positive conclusion at the end of the year. We were able to complete all planned projects almost on time. This is due to an excellent team performance even under more stringent conditions.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to keep the whole world on tenterhooks. Exit restrictions, travel bans, standoff rules and limitations in personal and professional environments are on everyone’s mind. The incidence of infection this fall and winter surpassed that of last spring many times over. While during the first wave there were up to 300 deaths per day, now in the second wave more than 1000 deaths were counted on some days.

This leads to even more important protection of our customers and employees. For this reason, no one can be found in our office on some days, because the employees of DELPHI IMM are free to do their work in the office or in the home office during the pandemic period. We are still reachable by phone (if you cannot reach us by phone, please send us an e-mail). Contact with our customers is currently limited to digital meetings in video conferences. While this was still quite unusual for all of us just under a year ago, it has now become part of everyday life.

Even if the measures resulting from the hard lockdown still put a lot of strain on us, we are looking to the future with confidence. There is hope to believe that life will return to normal as far as possible in the course of this year, even if we have to assume that the virus will be part of our lives in the future.

Stay healthy, everyone!
